The Continuing Education Director position will be an integral part of our new professional development education and training system for our diverse audiences across a variety of business to business verticals within Endeavor Business Media. This new position will coordinate and work closely within the organization and with external partners and associations to accomplish our vision, values, and guiding principles for our continuing education model. The success of this position is realized by utilizing effective working relationships with all partners.


The Continuing Education Director will develop instructional in-person and computer-based teaching methods for live webinars, simulations, and/or e-Learnings for professionals wishing to gain Professional CE Credits or other training in their fields. This position will need to be able to translate the complex learning needs of our markets into web-based solutions that are understandable and useful to a variety of audiences.

The ideal candidate will have experience of the creation of online training via e-Learning, webinars and human interfaces; and of the learning science and curriculum design that is required to advance the practice and effectiveness of training for professionals wishing to improve upon the practice and theory of their chosen profession.

This person will be one of the front-line people in the development of our web-based curriculum, and will embrace, distill and curate a magnitude of content to create engaging and interactive learning programs online.


This position will also lead a team, and also have a large role in determining go-to-market sales strategies for packaging and monetizing recurring subscription revenue models for the CE Platform.

This position will have multiple areas of responsibility, in an environment of dynamic and sometimes changing priorities. The person in this position needs to respond quickly to emergent needs and work closely with Executive Management and the rest of the team to support long-term and short-term efforts.




  • Lead online course development projects

  • Provide expert guidance, leadership, instructional design, and project management for online projects such as leading eLearning projects or supporting webinar projects

  • Guide discussions with other internal stakeholders to design courses.

  • Take course content provided by content stakeholders, curriculum developers, trainers, coaches, instructors, and other experts and shape it into online offerings.

  • Produce accessible e-Learnings or update existing e-Learnings to meet 508 compliance standards, such; Working with providers for ensuring subtitles are included; revising graphics to meet visible accessibility standards. as: creating alt text for images; ensuring content screen reader accessible

  • Direct, create and execute monetization strategies for the CE Platform

  • Support curriculum developers to revise elements in live classroom/webinar curriculum to meet accessibility standards.

  • Direct the activities of the video team to plan, shoot, edit, compress, and integrate videos into the platform; supervise the narration, recording, and editing of audio for eLearning projects.

  • Manage eLearning development process through iterations of the product.

  • Develop resource materials, online modules, online courses, and in-person training curricula.

  • Design and produce informational charts and graphics for learning content, reports, websites, and social media.

  • Other Duties as Assigned


  • Master's degree in education, Learning Technology or Computer Science, Curriculum Development or a related field or concentration. Equivalent number of years in experience can substitute for degree requirement.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with designing and producing online courses.

  • Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum requirements.


  • Advanced skills and experience planning, designing, producing and delivering education and training in a wide variety of online formats.

  • Experience with developing online eLearning courses and utilizing a variety of software, video, and/or media tools.

  • Experience in in person and/or online CE programs in the B2B media sphere

  • Experience initiating and managing projects, as well as coordinating and managing project teams.

  • Strong customer service skills.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and facilitation communication skills and patience.

  • Critical thinker with demonstrated creative problem-solving skills.

  • Can work independently and as a team member.

  • Ability to track tasks to completion and ensure that they are carried out properly.
