Responsible for overseeing day-to-day direction of Digital Content for Dental Group, including supervision of digital content, assigning responsibilities of day-to-day digital content; managing workflow of newsletters, websites, and Social Media. Performing editorial tasks; and working with group leadership to shape digital content contributions to the business plan.
To lead the group's development of strong digital content for websites, newsletters, and social media that build engaged and responsive audiences, which in turn increases the effectiveness of editorial in revenue generation.
Provide review and interpretation of digital product metrics as they relate to content.
Website Strategy including layout of website, review metrics, and provide direction.
Monitor and review technical or work-related problems and make related reports to the supervisor.
Provide information and suggestions to the supervisor regarding improvements in content and related digital products.
Provide information and recommendations to the supervisor regarding performance appraisals and personnel assignments.
Participate in discussions with group leadership, including the publisher, national sales manager, and chief editors, to provide digital content and digital products perspective and inform key decisions.
Schedule, assign, and ensure completion of digital activities for newsletters, websites, and social media.
Participate in execution of day-to-day digital content work in order to meet key publishing deadlines.
Resolve complex problems related to editorial workflow.
Analyze performance of editorial products
Lead editorial meetings and outline workflows for projects
Select staff, train employees, and work with each editor in the group to improve individual performance

Excellent written communication skills and knowledge of the English language
Ability to edit manuscripts

Ability to lead workflow of digital content
Ability to set a vision for digital products
Analyze digital product metrics and provide direction.
Equivalent Education / Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher; major in English or related field
5+ years experience with editorial or related work
Special Job Dimensions:
Ability to work in office environment
Travel to 4–6 conferences required
Supervise editorial team for their work with digital content managing associate editor(s)
