Marketing Automation Specialist

Job Description:

Endeavor Business Media is seeking a marketing automation expert who can take the marketing infrastructure to the next level by maintaining and growing a cutting-edge marketing automation platform.  This role will be responsible for technical support of 50+ users including form/landing page creation, backend setup, database hygiene, CRM integrations, and troubleshooting.  Looking for a “can-do” candidate who is willing to take the initiative and excited to support our robust marketing team and develop new improve processes across the company. 

 

This role would be ideal for a mid-level (2-4 years) marketer looking for an opportunity to apply their working knowledge of email marketing, customer data and integration technology.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides day-to-day marketing automation maintenance and configuration of the systems, as well as act as the first line of defense for system support, requiring a combination of technical ability and business savvy.

  • Creating lead generation forms to drive conversion for paid and list generation campaigns.   

  • Creating/edit landing pages in HTML, leveraging Eloqua’s responsive landing page design editor tool, along with other HTML editing tools, such as Dreamweaver.

  • Owning the program management of overall data hygiene which include list uploads, pulls, segmentation, execution, and measurement.

  • Follow all CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA compliance/legal requirements.  

  • Build APIs for various customers and partners. 

  • Develops metadata, build new reports and maintain existing reports using business intelligence tools; conduct analysis to provide insights into marketing data.

  • Proactively monitors delivery performance; addressing blacklistings and blocks; stays current with ever-changing deliverability landscape; and counsels marketers on how to avoid deliverability issues, how to monitor performance, and how to build a more engaged audience.   

  • Work directly with our Data Scientist and VP of Marketing Solutions to build out automated reported to view overall database health and campaign trends. 

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years' experience with both technical and hands-on  experience administering a Marketing Automation solution.

  • Experience with email marketing automation like Eloqua, HubSpot, and Marketo (Eloqua Preferred).

  • Experience working with data, including standard email engagement, metrics and web analytics tools.

  • Extremely comfortable modifying existing HTML email templates with an emphasis on mobile and responsive design.

  • Must have a good understanding of the Web and Web technology (HTML, basic CSS, java script) and the ability and desire to expand current technical skill-set.

  • Background in technical setup, nurture building, email creation, and deployment.

  • Knowledge of database and email marketing best practices i.e., deployment, deliverability, performance analysis, and database hygiene.

  • Logical and technical thinker – likes to build processes and solve problems.

  • Self-starter, not afraid to dive-in and roll up your sleeves.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment working with multiple teams including marketing services, IT,  and Ops to support user and customer marketing across all Endeavor brands.
