Operations Systems Support Specialist

Position Summary:

The Operations Systems Support Specialist trains and supports the sales and operations staff in all aspects of the MagHub CRM and orders-to-cash application. This responsibility includes creating, maintaining and distributing process and procedure documentation pertaining to the core system functions as well as providing on-site and remote training. This position also participates in data migration and/or system set-up activities as part of any new business implementation or integration effort. Working alongside the Production Systems Administrator, the Operations Systems Support Specialist identifies and applies process improvements which leverage the MagHub application and other interacting or independent operations systems.


Primary Responsibilities

-Provide the day-to-day support needs to a diverse group of sales, accounting and operations staff.

-Provide day-to-day support in the areas of company and contact record maintenance, various order entry procedures, and reporting.

-Train new employees on the MagHub application functions relevant to their position.

-Stay current on vendor’s monthly system releases which include new features, improvements and bug fixes; and communicate relevant changes across the internal user groups.

-Observe user activity to ensure practices are consistent with critical company policies.

-Interact with vendor support resources as needed.

-Collaborate with Production Systems Administrator and department heads on new initiatives to further leverage the application to best serve the needs of the organization at large.



· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational skills; can effectively work independently and collaboratively

· Ability to understand how isolated events or changes impact a larger process

· Ability to recognize and respond accordingly to how individuals learn

· Aptitude for working efficiently in a Web-based application


Bachelors or Associated degree required; web application and/or back office systems support experience desired.
