Job Summary / Impact:
Responsible for providing leadership, support, advocacy and vision to employees and hiring managers throughout the organization. Assists in the development of programs that fosters and retains high performing employees. Participates in the development of training and mentoring programs, building succession plans and creating internal job posting and promotion processes. Key contributor to the development of internal pay programs, compensation plans and overall employee rewards. Responsible for working with management in the development of job descriptions on all company employees. Assists in the creation and development of employee recognition and incentive programs. Conducts career and talent assessments to individuals utilizing leadership development strategies, tools, and processes to identify learning needs and employee competencies as determine key skill gaps. Evaluates individuals to identify employee readiness, talent gaps, and retention risks. Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures recommending plan revision as well as new plans that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives; coordinates implementation and provides guidance to corporate staff. Provides advice to corporate staff on pay decision, policy and guideline interpretation, and job evaluation, including the design of creative solutions to specific compensation related programs. Works with organizational leadership to define a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation and benefits package that fits and is aligned to our company’s strategy and business goals ensuring the development of a consistent compensation philosophy in line with work culture and organizational objectives. Ensures that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation (pay equity, human rights, etc). Uses various methods and techniques and make data based decisions on direct financial, indirect financial and nonfinancial compensations. Assess employees needs by conducting organizational psychology surveys to find out what motivates and engages employees. Participates in salary and compensation surveys to determine prevailing market pay rates and benefits. Partners with company management to assist in the preparation of job descriptions. Conducts job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications. Conducts company on-boarding program including New Hire Orientation as needed. Assists with the development of 30, 60, 90, 120 Day On-Boarding Program. Conducts thorough orientation on benefits with all new hires in accordance with company policy as needed Answers questions concerning the company in general and benefits referring to various resources as needed. Conducts ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices. Conducts periodic audits and prepares reports. Responsible for coordinating and implementing company training programs by assessing needs from the various departments and developing outcomes-based curriculum to meet employee’s needs. Responsible for creating policies and procedures related to training as well as developing tracking systems to monitor the effectiveness of training and promote the corporate strategic plan and culture. Establishes programs that measure the total effectiveness of all learning and development programs. Monitors and reports training data and statistics to management, analyzing information and develop programs to improve employees’ abilities and strengthen skill sets.

-Must possess strong “people skills” with ability to interact positively with all levels.
Equivalent Education / Experience
-Masters' degree or equivalent; or 10 to 15 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-SHRM certification and/or HRCI certification.
-Proficient in the use of database applications including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. Ability to make an effective and persuasive presentations and speeches using original or innovative techniques or style. Excellent written and oral communication skills. .
-Ability to converse and write fluently in English.
Special Job Dimensions:
-This is a full time position with flexibility of working in the office and at remotely.
-This position may require longer hours and travel up to 50% of the time.
