The Event Marketing Manager manages the marketing efforts of various events in their respective industries, with their overall responsibility of driving total attendance and maximizing attendee revenue.
Primary Objectives: Drive event attendance, support sales efforts and maximize attendee revenue.
Manage from concept to execution the turnkey marketing campaigns for assigned events.
Develop an event marketing plan with thorough competitive analysis, marketing budget, and concept, to include the creative brief for each marketing campaign to ensure maximum market penetration and exposure, identification of industry hot topics, utilization of all appropriate marketing mediums, maximum return on investment and adherence to standard marketing timeline
Manage from concept to execution the entire marketing campaign, including but not limited to email campaigns, brochures, ads, direct mail, social media, sales materials and other marketing collateral
Act as the single point of contact with Creative Services/Studio regarding all design project
Maintain the website ensuring fresh material and content throughout the year and managing overall site design
Manage event marketing budgets to ensure compliance and maintain accurate cost control
Schedule all advertising and public relations activities, and be responsible for all press releases in accordance with company policy, manage and track distribution both internally and externally
Execute all copywriting activities to include the proofing and writing of copy created for marketing pieces in accordance with established company standards

• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with others easily
• Ability to be self-motivated to reach goals
• Experience in marketing or advertising sufficient to meet the requirements of the role
Knowledge / Skill / Ability:
• Copywriting skills & ability to manage multiple campaigns
• Excellent proofreading skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite a plus
• Experience in social media
Equivalent Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field
